Emmah Leu started Mauvorney in 2016 with the goal of combining her love for fashion, photography, and design. Mauvorney means "my love" and is her middle name. Emmah is a natural light photographer who specializes in portrait and lifestyle photography. Her photoshoots are upbeat and focus on capturing the raw moments through a bold and colorful lens. In addition to photography, she consults with businesses on marketing and runs an online clothing company @FosterandOzzy.

When do I book?
I always recommend that clients book 2-3 months in advance to secure a spot. However, feel free to contact me to see if I have any availability or cancellations. For graduation, family/couples, senior, and wedding photos, you are encouraged to reach out to me far in advance to get on my list.

How do I pay for my shoot?
Cash is preferred, but check and venmo also work!

Do I get to see the raw images?
The simple answer is no. My job is to narrow down a gallery to only the best images. For a typical 1hr session, I take anywhere from 700+ photographs. When I curate a gallery, I pay attention to providing photographs that are versatile in every element. After all, if you are booking with me, you are booking me for my eye, education, and style. Let me do the hard work for you.

When will I receive my images?
Depending on my work load, I request my clients give me 2-3 weeks to hand select and edit my favorite images for their package option. After I am finished, you will receive the link to your online gallery via email. These images come with 100% creative rights so that you may download, post, and print to your heart’s desire. Just be sure to tag me on social media, and let your friends and family know how much you loved your photos!
